Audrina Patridge cut from DWTS but gets new reality show, will keep dancing

The Hills alum Audrina Patridge was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Oct. 26, 2010, but will feature DWTS partner Tony Dovolani in her upcoming reality show, which was just greenlit.

"My new show with [realty TV producer] Mark Burnett just got picked up," Patridge, 25, told People backstage after her shocking elimination. "It's going to be on VH1 and we're going to start filming soon. I'm sure Tony will be on that."

'I WAS IN SHOCK'

While Audrina was saddened by her unexpected elimination, she says DWTS was an incredible experience she'll never forget.

"I couldn't believe it," Patridge says. "I was in shock. I was trying to hold it in and keep a smile on my face, but on the dance floor when everyone came to give me a hug and say goodbye, that's when I got teary-eyed. But I'm going to stay in contact with everyone. I made such good friends and I had such a great experience."

But Audrina plans to keep in touch with her DWTS partner Tony, who's opening his own dance studio with co-star Maksim Chmerkovskiy. In an upcoming episode of her show, Patridge will attend Dovolani's dance studio opening with her friends.

"I'll be going to Tony's new dance studio with my girlfriends and bringing the cameras," Patridge says.

'I'M GOING TO KEEP ON DANCING'

Audrina, who declared she's in the best shape of her life thanks to her grueling dance workouts, also plans to keep on dancing even though she's no longer competing on the show.

"I've developed a new passion for dancing and even after the show's over I'm still going to dance," she gushed.

Patridge thinks the Dancing with the Stars trophy will ultimately come down to Brandy and Jennifer Grey. "I think Brandy's really good," Patridge says. "Jennifer's good, too, but Brandy has this drive. She wants it."

Meanwhile, Patridge's former Hills co-star Whitney Port just announced that her reality show The City has been cancelled, while Lauren Conrad recently began filming her new MTV reality series.

Audrina's new reality show, which begins shooting in early 2011, will follow her as she tries to launch an acting career.

Its getting down to the wire now, I was thinking it may have been her to go but I love Tony and her dancing style.
I can't wait to see the studio they open, wow if only I lived there ;-)
