The casting director for the upcoming new 1-hour scripted drama "Nine Lives" is currently casting teens for the series regulars and supporting roles. All ethnicities, male and female. There are also roles available for parents of the teens. The drama is based on the book series "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" by Celia Thomson.
Celia Thomson is the pen name for Liz Braswell, her other pen name is Tracy Lynn. Braswell produced video games for almost 10 years before she decided to make a career change and began writing novels. She produced a series of Star Trek video games for Simon & Schuster Interactive that was programmed for the Macintosh and PC platforms. Simon & Schuster, Inc. became publisher of Liz Braswell's novels.
The three novels in "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" series are titled The Fallen, The Stolen, and The Chosen. The general premise of the story is about an adopted girl who discovers she has super-human powers, must fight to protect others of her non-human tribe, and deal with high school also.
