The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, will have auditions for the Ladies of Ontario Fury dance team Aug. 10 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Claremont.

The Ladies of Ontario Fury, sponsored by Mountain View Chevrolet, are some of the most recognizable members of the Fury. The professional dance team not only performs during games, but also represents the team at community events and charity functions. Dancers will also be part of a professional photography shoot for the 2015 Ladies of Ontario Fury calendar.

“Our first team of dancers has been a tremendous asset for the team on and off the field,” said team president Bernie Lilavois. “I cannot thank the 2013-14 team enough for the work they’ve put in for the Fury, and I look forward to seeing our next team build upon that legacy.”

Among the events the Ladies of Ontario Fury have appeared at during the 2013-14 season include the CHiPs For Kids toy drive, the Colonies Holiday Miracles shopping day, World Cup watch parties, the Fury Junior Dance Clinic and many more.

“Our team of dancers has become a tight-knit family,” said Lynae de Leon, the dance team director. “I look forward to finding a new group to continue to represent the Fury.”

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with auditions starting promptly at 9:30 a.m. and are closed to the public.

Prospective dancers must complete an application and a waiver, which are both available online, as well as provide a 5x7 headshot, which will not be returned. The auditions are open to dancers 18 and older as of Oct. 15, 2014. Dancers under the age of 18 at the time of auditions must have a parent sign the waiver.
