The Missoula Children’s Theatre will be having auditions today April 1, at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. The City of Lancaster, must more be said? Lancaster, the wonderful city that never seems to cease from providing their wonderful and appreciative community with fun, activities, family events, music, entertainment and yes, ah the Performing Arts. Today, April 1 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. there will be auditions for local students ranging from Kindergarten to Twelfth grade for fifty to sixty roles.
Whoever will be attending this great opportunity to audition for the Missoula Children’s Theatre for the play Snow White, must arrive by 3:45 p.m., through the rear entrance. The auditions will be promptly closed at 4:00 p.m.
Students who receive a role for the play will have a rehearsal shortly after the auditions are over, so be ready to sit for a while longer, but it will be worth the wait. Also, cast members must have an open week from April 1- April 4 for rehearsal which will be from 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Depending on the role, certain cast may not be required to come and stay for the full four and a half hours.
Attention all Lancaster moms, any actors or actresses in the house? Today’s audition is a splendid opportunity for students considering the Arts or not. Bring out the children (and teens) from Kindergarten to Twelfth grade, so they can strut their stuff, well show their acting abilities. In the end, moms may discover and say “A Star is Born.”
