The Missoula Children’s Theatre is having auditions Monday, September 16th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. The City of Lancaster never seems to fail fulfilling the needs of their residents (and beyond); satisfying them with a variety of entertainment that comes in various areas of life and this is just another example. Students from kindergarten through grade twelve are more than welcome to audition for the play Blackbeard the Pirate. A bit of advice to the students, bring a huge smile and a will and desire to have a most joyous time.
One chaperone per student will be allowed in the auditions. Please arrive by 3:45 p.m., because the doors will be closed at 4:00 p.m. Is not promptness a good quality to have? Also, the rear entrance is where everyone must enter. Fifty to sixty students will be cast for the play and whoever is chosen, please be prepared to stay an additional fifteen to thirty minutes after the auditions. Students who are cast must be free for the entire week and on Friday, September 20th which is show time, the whole day must be open for the play itself.
Okay, Mothers of Lancaster, have any actresses or actors in the home? Any students who may want to shine and strut their stuff sort of speak? How about just having a great time on the stage? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, the Lancaster Performing Arts Center is where it all starts.
