The Weekend Theater, 7th & Chester in downtown Little Rock, has set auditions for our two spring shows at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 16th and 6 p.m. Sunday, February 17th for the following shows:
Doubt, A Parable, directed by Byron Taylor, and The Paris Letter, directed by Ralph Hyman. Auditions will consist of reading from the script; you do not have to prepare anything prior to the audition. Scripts will not be available prior to auditions.
Doubt, A Parable, written by John Patrick Shanley, will rehearse March 9th through April 4th with performances April 5-20. One man and three women will be needed.
The Paris Letter, written by Jon Robin Baitz, rehearses April 6th through May 2nd, with performances May 3-18. Five men and one woman will be needed.
Rehearsals usually take place somewhere between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays either from 1-5 p.m. or from 6:30 p.m.-10 p.m. depending on the director's preference.
No roles have been pre-cast.
