Hello fellow thespians! How are you all enjoying this series on auditioning? Last week, I showed you some auditioning tips from Aaron Marcus, Hugh Laurie and Natalie Portman. Sunday, I published an anecdote about Clint Eastwood's audition for Rawhide. Monday, I showed you an audition by Canadian actress Rachel McAdams. Tuesday, I shared with you a flawless audition by Blake Lively (Gossip Girl, Green Lantern), and Wednesday I shared some funny audition blooper stories from TV stars. Yesterday we looked at an audition that was almost there, but not all there, Scarlett Johannnson auditioning for Jumanji.
For today's audition example, I want you to close your eyes (especially you guys out there) and listen to Megan Fox's audition for (I think) The Transformers. You can leave a comment and tell me what you think, but to me, she was flat. You make the call.

CASTING Alert Some of you may have already heard, but Netflix (that's right, Netflix is in the production business now) will be filming a 13-part TV political thriller called House of Cards in Baltimore this spring. It stars Kevin Spacey and is directed by David Fincher (The Social Network).
Check out the Maryland Film Office for updates on big film and TV projects popping off in Maryland. Their twitter page has many casting notices as well.
