The Company Theatre of Norwell is offering an opportunity to be part of one of the biggest musicals to ever grace the Company Theatre stage!
The Tony award-winning musical, ‘Les Miserables’ became a world-wide sensation and stands as the second longest Broadway musical after ‘Cats.’ Adapted from playwright Victor Hugo’s epic novel of the same name, this incredible musical score includes ‘At the End of the Day,’ ‘I Dreamed a Dream,’ ‘Master of the House,’ ‘On My Own,’ and ‘Do You Hear the People Sing.’
‘Les Miserables’ is an epic work of art! It is both visually and musically stunning, telling a hopeful and heartbreaking story of faith, courage, and unconditional love.
Directed by Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman, choreography by Sally Forrest, and musical direction by Michael Joseph, all roles are open for casting and will take place at the Company Theatre Center for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive in Norwell, Massachusetts. Children’s auditions from ages 8-12 for three roles will be held on Monday, May 12 at 4 p.m. Adult auditions will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 1 p.m. Callbacks are scheduled for Monday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Audition candidates should be strong singers and be prepared to sing a song from the show in the show’s key or a song in a similar musical style. Please bring a headshot or snapshot and a resume is preferred, but not required. Audition candidates may bring their own sheet music, but the music score will be available with accompaniment. Callbacks will include sung dialogue.
