Audition tape for possible Joyce Giraud or Carlton Gebbia replacement released

Fans of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" may have already had their first glimpse of the next Beverly Hills housewife. As reported by Wetpaint Entertainment on Thursday, March 20, a woman's audition tape for the show has come to light.

The woman auditioning for the show is Elly Schneider, wife of former "Dukes of Hazzard" star John Schneider. While they're still technically married, however, it seems that they're separated as she lives apart from him in a Santa Monica condo. For her audition, which is posted up on the website for all to see and was actually filmed by John, Elly gives a tour of her condo and talks about their four kids.

While Elly's interested in the role, it seems that she hasn't watched the show much. During her audition, she repeatedly gets the name of the show wrong, alternating between "Beverly Hills Housewives" and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

Producers are looking for one or two woman to join the show for next season. Unfortunately for newcomers Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, they're reportedly on the chopping block because producers don't feel as if they have developed a strong enough connection to the show and its fan base.

What do you think of the audition tape? Do you think Elly Schneider has any chance of being a Beverly Hills housewife?
