A free and open workshop for all interested girls in joining the dance or ambassador squads will take place at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6 at Catalyst Fitness, 770 Wehrle Dr. Williamsville. Learn what it takes to be a Buffalo Jill, and interested dancers will have the opportunity to learn their audition routine.Young ladies auditioning for the Dance squad should wear shorts and half top with warm ups. Young ladies auditioning only for the Ambassador squad should be in business casual attire.
Get the Jills look by attending the "Glamour Prep Class" at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at Aesthetic Associates Center, 2500 Kensington Ave., Amherst. An additional workshop will be at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 at Catalyst Fitness, 770 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville. This is a great opportunity to rehearse with the Jills Captains and learn helpful interview, attire and makeup techniques. If you know in advance that you are auditioning only for the Ambassador squad, you only need to attend the 1st half of this workshop at 8-9pm for $10. Many questions and clarifications will be made at this workshop.
First cuts begin at noon on Saturday, March 9 at the North Park Theater, 1428 Hertle Ave., Buffalo. This is open to the public to watch for $5. There is a $50 audition fee.
