An opportunity to audition for a role in a fairy tale.

Now is your opportunity to audition for a role in a fairy tale.  Jersey Productions is holding open auditions for "Once Upon a Mattress," the show that gave Carol Burnett her big break.  If you have ever dreamt of performing at the Aronoff's Jarson-Kaplan Theater, this is your opportunity!

The audition is on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with callbacks the following day, if necessary.  Performances will be December 11 to 19. 

You can sign up starting at 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Know Theatre of Cincinnati, 1120 Jackson Street in Downtown Cincinnati.  Adults and children over 8-years old are invited to apply.  

Please prepare two 16-bar selections that contrast with one another and show off your vocal range and a monologue.   Take your music with you as they will accompany you on piano, also take a headshot and resume if you have them, and dress comfortably as there will be a dance audition.
