The race takes place on an aircraft carrier between the exotic sports car Audi R8 and the Red Bull stunt aircraft the Edge 540. The Audi must launch and beat the Edge 540 to the finish line, while proceeding to stop within time before driving off the side of the aircraft carrier! The Audi R8 has been raced against the extremely fast Bugatti Veyron and lost (*see race footage below), but this race is different. The Audi R8 has a great launch and braking capability, something that this race requires or else.
