While most automakers are busy gearing up for the Detroit Auto Show this month, Audi has decided to spotlight its new Sport Quatrro Laserlight concept car at the forthcoming International Consumer Electronics Show Jan.7-10 in Las Vegas.

While the car make look like its sister, the Sport Quattro Concept unveiled during the big International Auto Show in Frankfurt this past September, and shares its 700 hp electric motor/V8 hybrid engine, the laserlight is expected to shine even brighter thanks to a number of sophisticated additions, including laser headlamps instead of LED lights, said to be carry as far as 1500 feet, as well as new "3D" display powered by a Nvidia Tegra 30 processor (usually found in high level range gaming computers), expected to provide the car with high-tech infotainment services (being developed in partnership with Nvidia and Google) that will operate off new hardware in the car rather than smartphone systems.
