An 11-year-old girl who went missing from her Auburn Hills home Sunday morning was found Monday night in Detroit with her non-custodial father. The father was arrested.
Tavia Danaj Bentley was reported missing by her grandmother at 8:00 AM Sunday morning.
Police suspected she had been taken by her father, Sebastian Albert Campbell, who does not have custody.
On Monday night at about 8:30 PM, authorities found both Bentley and Campbell at a house in the 14000 block of Dolphin St in Detroit.
The girl was not harmed.
The father was taken into custody without incident.
Auburn Hills police credit a number of tips phoned into various law enforcement agencies.
They also had assistance from such agencies as the Troy and Southfield police, and the US Marshals, in finding the girl.
Sebastian Campbell is being held at the Oakland County Jail pending review of the case by Oakland prosecutors.
He may face kidnapping charges.
