"Nashville" fans have something to be excited about today. Aubrey Peeples has been cast as the lead in a new movie. On Thursday, MSN shared the news about how she will star in the new flick "Jem and the Holograms." Women that were born in the 80s remember this show from when they were kids.

This was a popular show years ago and it is now being turned into a movie. Aubrey has done a great job on "Nashville" and proved that she can star in a leading role. This will be the first movie that she had the lead in and should be a great thing for her career.

At this time, there is no word of when "Jem and the Holograms" will hit theaters. Audrey Peeples hasn't started filming yet but they have done a great job of casting her along with the rest of the girls. Stefanie Scott, Hayley Kiyoko, and Aurora Perrineau have all been cast in the film as well.
