Aubrey Cleland soars with 'Big Girls Don't Cry' on 'American Idol'

Aubrey Cleland gave a rousing performance on "American Idol" Tuesday night.

Performing "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie, the talented singer impressed the entire panel of judges with strong vibrato and stage presence.

"First of all, you look fantastic. That song suited who you are. The only thing that I was frustrated with is I wish it would have allowed you to soar more," said Keith Urban.

Impressed with Aubrey Cleland's humble attitude, Nicki Minaj said she is sweet and endearing.

"You're so beautiful but you don't put that on at all. It's really sweet and endearing and I hope you never change that. I love when you're almost about to go into your falsetto," said Minaj. "I loved the Fergie song for you. I just overall love you."

Agreeing with both Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson loved Cleland's vibrato and emotion.

"I for one agree with Nicki and Keith. I love the vibrato. I loved the emotion that you came with. There's something very current and very infectious about you," said Jackson.

Rounding out the panel of judges, Mariah Carey agreed.

"I love the ensemble. I just think it's like you so obviously have multi-platinum potential. I hope people see that too. Keep doing it," said Carey.

With strong reviews from the judges, will Aubrey Cleland make it into the top ten?

"American Idol" returns with results from the first viewer vote Thursday night at 8 p.m. on FOX.
