I had the privilege of speaking with Jill Flint who plays Jordan on “The Night Shift” at the opening night red carpet at ATX Festival. “The Night Shift” airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. central on NBC.

Allison Nichols: What do you love most about Jordan?

Jill Flint: That she doesn't take no for an answer. Yeah, no is not an option for her. She's strong willed. She believes in herself.

What can you share about her relationship with TC?

Flint: They have a bond that will never be broken. They have a closeness that only the two of them will ever understand. They may never get back together again, but they will always be bound to each other.

What's coming up with Jordan?

Flint: I don't want to give too much away, but I will tell you this much, in the next episode, she finds herself in a little bit of hot water. She takes matters into her own hands in a way that she probably shouldn't.

How do you think Jordan is doing in terms of corralling everyone?

Flint: You know I think at the beginning she found herself in a situation where she bit off a little more than she can chew, but I think she adjusts quite well. She just has to figure out the ins and outs as anyone else would.

Aside from TC, does Jordan have any good relationship moments with any characters coming up?

Flint: The thing is about Jordan is that she ends up starting little relationships with everyone. She seems to be the little like center point for all of the different characters. You do see, Scott Wolf shows up very soon. Yeah, that's going to be make things a little interesting.

Are you doing okay with the medical jargon and everything?

Flint: I love the medical jargon. That's actually one of my favorite parts.

Have you been enjoying “The Night Shift” so far? Leave me your thoughts in a comment below.
