Holy as defined by the Encarta dictionary means saintly or sacred. The words holy and/or saintly may feel a bit intimidating when you think about your life but if you use the word sacred, it may strike a cord. What is sacred to you?
It might be the traditions you cherish, a religious routine you are loyal to or perhaps it is your ability to have a positive outlook regardless of the challenge.
If you’re not religious it is tough to attribute holy to your life because, as a human being, no one is perfect. Saintly is often attributed to the Holy Spirit and celestial beings. In an attempt to carefully tiptoe around religious beliefs and without overstepping these boundaries, the perspective presented here is to think of your existence, in itself, as divine.
Yes, you are the essence of holy. Your spirit, this energy that enables your being, is heavenly. Cherish your life itself as being holy. You are a miracle, an awe-inspiring existence. Each breath you take is a wonder.
The message in this article is to cherish the sensation of your life regardless of your circumstances. If you’re struggling, start with the basics, and be grateful that you are still alive. It doesn’t matter if you’re religious or not. Marvel at your existence and treat yourself (your mind, body and spirit) as a temple worthy of your holy being.
By appreciating your existence and by really embracing this holy outlook, you will manifest more awe-inspiring wonders; the kind that swirl around in your dreams!
