In an odd way, immigration is becoming a test of patience for Texas. Legal immigrants practice, 'when that which is good has come, that which is not, should be done away with.’ It makes no sense to leave behind decades of nightmares in one country and reproduce the same injustices, in another country.
The president enacted the ‘Dream Act,’ which Congress deactivated. The Senate’s ‘Gang of Eight’ passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill, Congress haven’t even considered. Under normal circumstances, even a idiot would view this as a legal process, performed by, and for, a law abiding society.
Law abiding immigrants have to be thinking, immigration advocates are deserters of common sense. They are only after everything that’s wrong with the process of immigration. One would think, if you wanted the injustices, the fears associated with a lawless government and a rotten justice system, why didn’t you just remain where you were?
Mexican American Legislative Caucus attorney, Jose Garza, is not interested in the law per say, but rather, instituting a lawless culture in Texas through a gross spreading of misinformation on voting rights. Mexicans along the border is being asked to ignore, Texas SB 14, which requires voters to show some form of identification in order to vote. Garza is reflective of the very same lawless governments that many from Spanish speaking country decided to leave behind.
He encourages lawlessness by citing a Washington D.C. federal court’s decision on SB 14, which was overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States. He ignores SCOTUS’ decision and is instructing Mexicans to show up and vote, to hell with a ID and yet, he claims, he’s not violating any codes of ethics.
What he fails to inform his people is, SB 14 has set aside funds for those who can’t afford an identification, all, at the expense of taxpayers and there’s more than enough time to get one. That should be the message, not, to hell with the law.
Texas Attorney General, Gregg Abbott has called out Garza on his unethical ‘legislation ambulance chasing,’ but that’s not enough. Abbott needs to step up to the plate and start making examples. Enforcement of the law represents a law abiding society. Garza represents a lawless society.
