Atticus Shaffer schools Chord Overstreet on the set of 'The Middle'

We brought you a first look (through photos) at Chord Overstreet's guest appearance on ABC's The Middle, but now how about some video?

While on the Los Angeles set, young Atticus Shaffer, who plays Brick Heck, took time to teach his on-screen teacher a few things, namely the "Brick whisper." The two young stars seemed to hit it off immediately and have a great time not-quite goofing around.

"It's fun; I've been having a blast," Overstreet tells mock interviewer Shaffer. "I get to do a cool little fun scene with Neil [Flynn] where we throw the ball everywhere."

And then Shaffer says learning the "whisper" is a requirement for every guest star-- including Ray Romano and Betty White. See Overstreet test out his skills in the video clip to the left!

Who's the teacher now!?

The MIddle airs on ABC on Wednesday nights at 8pm. Overstreet appears in the September 28th episode, and you can check out a photo preview from his appearance here.
