Attention WNY: Pet Connection needs your help!

Pet Connection Programs Inc., a nonprofit special care and maternity shelter for dogs and cats, is calling on the kindhearted citizens of Western New York to help them in their hour of need. Donations are urgently needed to keep the shelter’s doors open to future animal rescues.

There are three ways that animal lovers can help:

• Join Pet Connection’s 2,000 Club. Pet Connection is trying to find 2,000 people who will donate just $10 per month so the shelter can continue to save lives. Just go to www.petconnectionprogramsinc.com and click on the “Donate to Save a Life” link. You can also mail your donation to: Pet Connection Programs Inc., P.O. Box 149, Marilla, NY 14102.

• Donate much-needed supplies. Pet Connection is in need of the following items: Jars of chicken or turkey baby food, instant white rice, newspapers, paper towels and bleach. All items can be dropped off at the shelter, inside the enclosed porch of the larger building.

• Volunteer! Pet Connection relies on dedicated volunteers to help out around the shelter and at fundraisers and events. Help spread the word about this worthy cause.

Pet Connection is located at 12935 Williston Road, East Aurora. For more information, please visit www.petconnectionprogramsinc.com or follow the shelter on Facebook at www.facebook.com/PetConnectionProgramsinc for frequent updates.
