On Saturday, February 6th, join honorary co-chairs Dr. Randy Martin and John Pruitt of WSB-TV along with Happy Tails Pet Therapy for the 8th annual Warm Hearts and Cold Noses Valentine's Gala! The Gala will be held at Villa Christina from 6-9 p.m., and will feature a live and silent auction. Attire is business or cockail.

Villa Christina will provide the food for the event, and if you've never eaten there, it is wonderful! Villa Christina is located on Summit Boulevard in the Perimeter Summit complex off I-285 in Dunwoody.
No doubt the star of the evening will be the crew from Happy Tails Pet Therapy. An Atlanta veterinarian founded Happy Tails in 1991 to provide people in health care facilities, social agencies, and special needs programs with 'pet therapy.' If you've ever experienced or witnessed the power of a pet bringing joy to a sick or disabled person, you know what pet therapy is. Happy Tails volunteers and their pets harness "the power of the human-animal bond" to bring joy and healing to people in nursing homes, hospice care, shelters, hospitals, and other facilities. These volunteers share their time as well as their dogs, cats, and rabbits, and are true Everyday Heros! Check out some of the 'happy tales' from the volunteers.
Happy Tails is a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. There are many ways to support the work of Happy Tails other than just attending the Gala:
- Make a donation in honor or in memory of someone special
- Buy Happy Tails merchandise (shirts, hats, bags, fleeces, etc.)
- Ask your company about matching gifts
- Vacation in the North Georgia mountains (Valhalla Cabin Rentals near Ellijay will donate 100% of revenues generated via referrals through the Happy Tails Web site)
- Be a corporate sponsor - if you own a business, consider joining the Happy Tails team as a sponsor

Individual tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple for Happy Tails Members, otherwise $75 per person or $140 per couple for non-Members.
Sponsorships are available for corporations and individuals alike, and begin at the Sapphire level: $250 for 4 tickets. See the Happy Tails Web site for other sponsorship levels.
