Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival, July 22—ticket prices increase June 15.

Remember the cult classic film Attack of the Killer Tomatoes? This whimsical, annual festival pits food professional against each other in a tomato fight everyone can enjoy. It’s once again held at JCT Kitchen & Bar, located along Howell Mill Road. Festivities will spread out over the Westside Provisions District bridge to feature 34 chefs and 12 mixologists. The fun starts at 1p, Sunday, July 22.

Each featured chef partners with a local farmer to create a yummy tomato dish for attendees to sample. The featured mixologists will stir up their own signature cocktails using tomatoes. Along with input from Festival-goers, the celebrity judges will decide who wins. Garden & Gun Deputy Editor Dave Mezz, Esquire restaurant features writer John Mariani and actor David Miller, who played Mason Dixon in the original Attack of the Killer Tomatoes movie, are judges this year.

Today, tickets are $55 for Georgia Organics' members and $60 for non-members. As of June 15th all tickets will be $70.

JCT Kitchen and Bar is located at 1198 Howell Mill Road, Suite 18 Atlanta , GA
