Justin Bieber released "Heartbreaker" to his fans around the world as a part of his weekly series #musicmonday. He recently sent out a teaser of "Heartbreaker," but released the full version yesterday on Oct. 7. The track was produced by Toronto based producer T-minus, who has worked with Drake and Nicki Minaj. Bieber is always repping Canada, after all. The track was supposedly written for Bieber's on again and off again love Selena Gomez.
But watch out Justin Bieber, there is another new act in town, who also crafted a beautiful song to your "Heartbreaker" beat. We stumbled upon Atlantic Recording artist Kendall's version on YouTube today. Kendall's female spin on the "Heartbreaker" beat is called "Quit." In her song, she is ready to give up on a relationship. Bieber, on the other hand, is fighting for forgiveness and trying to get his lady back. “These songs are different. These are my #journals," Bieber tweeted about "Heartbreaker."
Kendall gives a stellar vocal performance and we are excited to hear more from her. Kendall in fact sang Keyshia Cole's "Trust and Believe" first. This is the record that got her signed, according to "Artist Live TV." This video has over 24,000.
This is another clip of Kendall in the studio with super producer Sean Garrett. Garrett served as a producer on the Miley Cyrus Britney Spears smash "SMS (Bangerz)."
