So many festivals and events are happening right now in Atlanta.You may actually be able to choose from four or more on any given weekend. Here are some of the upcoming events to keep you occupied.
The Atlanta Steeplechase is the 48th Annual Atlanta Steeplechase, Saturday, April 13th 2013 for more information visit atlantasteeplechase.org or call 404-237-7436. This is event is so much fun and benefits the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine and Camp Southern Ground, Inc. This event takes place at the lovely Kingston Downs in North Georgia.
The 31st Annual Derby Day is Saturday May 4th, 2013. Check out www.derbyday.com or call at 404-350-7778. This horse derby will benefit the Shepherd Center Foundation. You can join in the fun at the Georgia International Horse Park. Gates will open at 2:00p.m
June 1st 2013 Roswell Women’s Club—presents—Rockin Roswell—Giving back is what they do. Check the website later this month for more details on this fun charity event. www.roswellwomansclub.org
The highly anticipated first annual Acwoth Art Festival in North Cobb County April 13th and 14th, 2013 http://acworthartfest.splashfestivals.com/. This event has been put together by the same folks that produced the Dunwoody Arts Festival that was such a success. I can walk to this from my home so I am very excited.
