Atlanta families looking for a great local consignment sale don't have to look far. Kid ReSales is having its fall/winter sale at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road.
This is the church's third sale and again it promises to offer a ton of great deals. The sale has a variety of items, everything from clothes and toys, to books and bikes.
Items are gently used or in great condition. Some clothes and toys have never even been used and still have the tags on. The prices are lower compared to many other consignment sales. Most clothing items range from $1 to $5. Some "dressy" dresses and coats may be a little bit more. There are also plenty of items for babies, including strollers and car seats. And if you shop on Saturday, many items are half-off.
The sale is a way for Cross and Crown Lutheran Church to give back to the community. While sellers make two-thirds of the profit from their items, the other third goes towards the church's Good Samaritan Fund. The fund goes to help with the church's missionary work.
The times of the sale are as follows:
Thursday, August 22, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (No children until noon - except newborns in baby sling and kids over 10 years old.)
Friday, August, 23, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, August, 24, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Half price day)* Tags that are not circled are half-off.
Cross and Crown Lutheran Church is located at 4276 Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd.

Also, if you haven't tried being a seller at a consignment sale, Kid ReSales is a great sale to participate in. Sellers not only make two-thirds of the selling price, but they also get to shop early, before the public. And this year sellers with more than 20 items get 20% off of one clothing item purchased.
