Atlanta's Federal Reserve Bank has museum


A museum and visitors center are included at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta explaining their role in the American economy, the history of money and the bank’s vault, cash processing areas and the bank’s boardroom. The museum and visitors center are located at the Federal Reserve Bank at 1000 Peachtree Street N.E. in Midtown.

The museum gives tours to large groups by appointment Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The museum is open to individuals and groups smaller than 10 people for self-guided tours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. These tours do not need to be scheduled ahead of time.

Admission to the museum is free.
