When local mom and inventor Keli Hazel started her own company, she made giving back to the community a personal goal, and has fulfilled it by making regular contributions to Haven House, a local non-profit organization that supports and empowers women. However, after seeing the devastating images from Haiti following the powerful earthquake, she decided that for the next four months, 5% of every sale from Keli’s Kreations® would be donated to Haitian relief efforts.
From now through June 1, 2010, 5% of all sales of the Diva Deluxe™ and Diva Lite™ will be donated to www.helphaitinow.org. Local mom, inventor and business owner, Keli Hazel says, “It just breaks my heart to see those Haitian children wandering the streets with little or no food or water. For this reason, I want to do whatever I can to support the relief and recovery efforts.”
As a single mother of three, Keli Hazel knows all about the painful process of recovering from adversity. In fact, she is the perfect example of turning lemons into lemonade. After enduring a divorce, the mother of three chased her dream of sending her invention to the market. Her “big idea” came in 2007, and soon afterwards Keli attended a casting call for “Everyday Edisons.” The panel of experts confirmed that Keli’s creation was an innovation, and that nothing else like it existed in the marketplace. Finally, the marketing guru behind Mr. Coffee helped Keli line up manufacturers, attorneys, designers and freight companies. Voila! Portable Jewelry Cases by Keli’s Kreations® was born.
Keli Hazel, owner and inventor of Portable Jewelry Cases by Keli’s Kreations® recently said, “I am so happy about my new invention. I truly believe that it will make life easier for busy women travelers. And now I am so blessed to be able to pay it forward by making donations to the earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti."

What a generous and gracious offer to help aid the victims of the Haiti earthquake. It is nice to see local buisness people give back. I always prefer to support local business entreprenuers rather that patronizing the big box retailers.
God bless this lovely lady for her great deed to humanity.
We all need to do our part for Haiti. Thanks go to Ms. Hazel.
Thanks for the info. I am going to check out her website and the charities she helps.
Awesome that she is doing that!
