With domestic violence remaining the leading cause of injury to girls and women in Georgia, several Atlanta male celebrities and professionals have joined forces with local nonprofit agency, Chayil Inc., for a fashion event to raise funds for survivor recovery.
On Thursday June 23, 7:30PM, Atlanta favorites including Dion Glover (Atlanta Hawks), Hank Stewart (National Acclaimed Poet), and Carl Graves (Luxury Retail) will take to the runway at Room Service Lounge on 1937 Piedmont Circle, NE. Atlanta, GA 30324.
Hosted by TV and Radio personality Esther Caspino, with wardrobe furnished in part by K&G Fashions, runway accessories by Wendy Babchin Designer Group and fashion styling by Deidre LaShon, the event will also recognize Caribbean American Heritage Month with a special performance by PRIZM Caribbean Group and presentations by Janice Lawrence-Clarke of the Caribbean American Fashion Exchange. Other performers include National Recording Artist Jasmine Rose (BET’s 106 and Park) and Recording Artist J.Ira.
