"Atlanta is often dubbed the mecca of the music industry and this is true now more than ever. Underneath all the glitz and glamour of making it big here in Atlanta, there exists a small number of homegrown talents who simply are inspired by this city. This allows them to explore their creative musical outlets to create a new sound of Atlanta music. In just four years we've been able to showcase Atlanta’s independent music scene, creating a platform for over 100 artists on the rise such as Yelawolf, B.o.B, Big Sean, Project Pat, J*Davey, Donnis, Don Cannon, FKI, Hollyweerd, Grip Plyaz, and many more! In 2008, we began with just a few hundred spectators and last year we were fortunate enough to amass thousands."
