Thursday participants at the Health and Longevity workshop given by licensed landscape architects Hugh Graham Dargan and his wife and business partner, Mary Palmer Dargan, learned partially how to design their own residential garden landscape yesterday. But they also took in the beauty of exclusive Buckhead garden designs too.
The Sept. 19-21 workshop continues today and through Saturday at the Atlanta History Center, with a total of eight garden tours planned for the three-day event.
Touring gardens is an enjoyable hobby, but rarely do you have the opportunity to learn how to recreate the looks in your own home garden that you are seeing in other people's gardens--and rarely do you get to learn those techniques from the designers of the garden on display. But that's the case this week for some landscape workshop participants, as the authors and landscape design experts from Buckhead are sharing their tricks of the trade. And don't you wish you could be there?
It isn't too late to get in on at least the last leg of the action, as there is still one more day to go, including workshop activities and garden tours for Saturday. And wouldn't you like to learn how to transform that so-so home garden landscape of yours into something that looks like it came from the pages of Architectural Digest? If so, give the Dargans a call at 828-743-0307.
