Atlanta crime author receives praise for first fiction novel

On Jan. 22, 2012 an Atlanta crime writer's fictional mystery book received its most recent praise from reviewer Diana Cikes. The "Ali Brown Criminal Profiler Series" seeks to take readers into the world of criminal profiling from a safe fictional distance and reviewer Diana Cikes says the book is a

"Terrific first novel," for A. Ryder.

The first book in the series "The Group of Three Murder Mystery" takes readers into the southern law enforcement world in Georgia no less. The book pitts the protaganist Ali Brown against some of her own members within the community of police as she seeks to bring closure and an arrest for three murdered female crime victims and their families.

"It provides a realistic sneek peek into the world of investigation, as well as the sexual discrimination faced by women working in a male-dominated field," Cikes said.
