St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday this year, which is disappointing for many. However, there are tons of pre-parties happening all weekend, all over the city. There are 6 free shows this week, a chance to get some free music, plus your monthly dose of free music improv via Invent Room Pop. Stevie Tombstone has a new CD, and deadCAT has an EP release. There are some great cover bands playing this week, Tin Roof has another round of acoustic acts battling it out for serious prizes, and to top it off there's a roaring Twenties party over at the Basement (come in costume and get a $2 discount).
