If you're looking for an event that will guarantee blues-based fun, go see Snave and the Grass. Not only are they great musicians, Snave Evans is also a born entertainer, with an easy rapport with the audience and boundless energy, the sort of showman who makes it all look so easy. And the group has that rarest of musical entities, a female drummer. But don't think that Elizabeth Tull is just a novelty...she is phenomenally good!
The other member of the group is bass player Grog Hill. Snave handles vocals, guitar, flute, and harmonica. Together, the three musicians make excellent music. in addition to blues, Snae and the Grass also play country and rock and they do it all very well.
The bottom line is that the group always seems to be having a great time on the stage, and that means that you, in the audience, will, too.
Here's what some other people have been saying. Go, and see for yourself:
If Snave was a drug, I'd be addicted. He's like a Long Island Iced Tea. A mix of so many flavors that's yummy....and you can get drunk off it. The perfect balance between talent, humor, and sex"
