Atlanta area tutor and after-school enrichment programs

Let's face it, many working parents unfortunately don't always have the time (or simply the expertise) to tutor their children. And with what appears to be a week off from school due to the snow closings some parents may be worried their children will fall behind.

When children need a little extra homework help or an extra boost, Atlanta offers up a number of educational resources. In addition to the popular Kumon Centers, Sylvan Learning Centers, and Huntington Learning Centers here are a few other local resources.

Mathnasium

Just as the name suggests, Mathnasium is a math learning center designed to help students improve their math skills and overall understanding of math concepts.

Mathnasium tutors in basic math concepts in early education and preparation for high school exit exams and college placement tests.

There are 11 locations throughout the Atlanta area including Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Peachtree City and Smyrna, and Suwanee.
