In and around Atlanta are energizing things to do outdoors in any season. We are truly blessed here with lots of mountains, lakes, parks, hiking trails, waterfalls, and much more. You can easily find places to run, hike, skate, kayak, canoe, fish, hunt,play sports or just relax and soak up the view.
For the weekend coming up, you can enjoy a hike sponsored by the Atlanta Outdoor Club, joining others in a trek with beautiful scenery near Dawsonville at Amicalola Falls , or at Kennesaw Mountain; the historic vista outside Marietta.
There is also a caving expedition to nearby Scottsboro Alabama's Limrock Blowing Cave, on their schedule. Scottsboro is home to the famous Unclaimed Baggage Center, where you can look through and purchase items left unclaimed on tranportation from all over the country.You never know what they will have on display there.
The Atlanta Outdoors Club has a full agenda of great events to join in every weekend. You can meet others who enjoy the same things you do, or try out some new activities with a few of the over 3000 members in this fun and adventurous group.
