I know! I know! It's the image of dead dogs that scumbag PETA employees said they'd find homes for but instead killed almost instantly. And there are still people who think PETA will find a good home for Fluffy. ARGH!!!!

Isn't today's trivia question the incident with PETA killing the cats and putting them in a dumpster?

Yes, the words "Piggly Wiggly dumpster" remind animal advocates of the incident in 2005 in which PETA employees were caught throwing animals, animals which they had obtained by promising to find them homes, but had instead killed, in a Piggly Wiggly dumpster. During the investigation and subsequent trial, it came out that it is PETA policy to kill nearly all the animals it takes into its grossly misnamed ‘Community Animal Project’, and that the animals killed were healthy. PETA continues to kill upwards of 90% of such animals to this day, and continues to lie about it.

The winner is Lynette Spratley. Please email me to let me know how to get your book to you.
