    1. Dogs who have never done anything wrong may be seized simply for being (or looking like) a targeted breed. 2. The people charged with determining the breeds often misidentify dogs. 3. Such laws ignore the fact the training and management of dogs of all breeds and mixes, and of people (especially children), and the way to prevent bites.

This is only 3 of the problems that consists of BSL:

    1. It targets dogs who are well be-haved merely because of what breed they are perceived to be; resulting in the seizing and killing of beloved family pets. Some people have even had to move in order to keep their family pets.

    2. It leads to exdpensive lawsuits as responsible dog owners fight back.

    3. Most people, animal control officers included, cannot correctly identify a "pit bull"; making enforcement of any "pit bull" bean arbitrary at best.

The above answers are correct, and there are certainly even more reasons why BSL should not be enacted. The winner is Sheila Boneham. Please email me to let me know how to get your book to you.
