At the Southeastern Flower Show in Atlanta: Visit the full size landscape gardens.

I just recently wrote about the upcoming Southeastern Flower show, beginning February 25th.

There are so many things for the homeowner, garden enthusiast, or green industry professional to see and do.  One of (perhaps the) main attractions are the full-size landscaped design gardens.  These gardens are built only for this show.  They are built in two days (in the current venue), shown for three days, and taken down in a day.  The build-destroy process alone is a wonder to behold.

The planning process begins months in advance.  Many veteran landscape design exhibitors begin planning as soon as the current gardens are taken down.

You will see stone masonry, beautiful water falls & fountains, blooming flowers in the dead of winter.  The designers will be on hand to answer questions about plant material, construction, inspirations.  The landscaped gardens alone are worth the trip.  Come on out.
