AT&T officially announced their newest 4G LTE mobile hotspot back in January, but the wireless carrier chose today to provide a few more details regarding the device's launch date, price, and assorted features. There aren't any curve balls here, as the device will be seeing its time in the lime light in just a few days, and with a new, two-year contract is downright cheap.
The AT&T Unite will go on sale February 8, 2013, and will cost the customer only $0.99 after they sign a new, two-year agreement. That will give the owner the opportunity to connect up to 10 devices to the mobile hotspot, giving access to AT&T's 4G LTE network to otherwise LTE-less devices. The hotspot features a 2.4-inch touchscreen display, and it provides all the relevant information (like WiFi network information and data usage) right there at the fore.
You'll be able to choose either a new family plan or individual plan, or a shared data plan. If you do choose to add a new mobile hotspot to your Family Share plan, it will run you only $20 per month to pull from the bucket allowance.
