Everyone into the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch pool. T-Mobile and AT&T announced on Monday (via 9to5Google) that the two wireless carriers would begin selling the Galaxy Gear smartwatch on Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively.
The carrier previously announced that the Galaxy Note 3 -- one of the few devices that will currently pair with the Galaxy Gear -- would begin shipping from its website on Oct. 1. The AT&T Note 3 sells for $299 with a requisite two-year agreement. AT&T's announcement was made in 140 characters or less, on Twitter.
T-Mobile made things official with a press conference for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear, also on Monday.Preorders will also begin on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Under T-Mobile's Un-carrier program, the Note 3 will sell for $199.99 down with 24 month payments of $21; pre-orders are expected to ship by October 2.
The Galaxy Gear itself will sell for $299.99 on both carriers.
Samsung originally announced that the Galaxy Gear, Galaxy Note 3, and the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) would launch on partners around the world beginning on Sept. 25, but that North American would see the devices later.
