Just in time for back to school and fall, AT&T announced a great deal for customers looking to buy an iPhone 5s or 5c.
With a larger screen iPhone 6 on the way as early as September, those looking for a more than adequate iPhone 5s or 5c can bundle to get a great deal.
Customers who pick AT&T Next, can get $200 off a new iPad bought on a 2-year wireless agreement. The AT&T customer has to sign a two-year wireless agreement for the iPad and use AT&T Next when buying the iPhone.
Buying by AT&T Next means you don’t have to put out $200 the moment you buy your new iPhone, but you will be on the hook to pay around $27 a month for the next two years.
It also gives the customer some flexibility. If you decide to leave AT&T during the two years, you don't have to pay a hefty penalty, just the remaining balance you owe.
I've read some reports that say upwards of 40% of new AT&T customers are opting to go with AT&T Next plans.
“With AT&T Next, customers can get the newest smartphone or tablet with no down payment. That’s hard to beat, and it’s an incredible value for customers who want the latest and greatest every year,” said Ralph de la Vega, president and chief executive officer of AT&T Mobility.
It's a great deal that really allows you to kill two birds with one stone.
Many Apple fans use both an iPhone and iPad.
