AT&T connects healthy moms and babies nationwide

At&T announced today that it is supporting a nationwide effort to help connect expectant mothers and families with weekly tips to support healthy pregnancies via text messaging.

It is called, text4baby, and it is now available at no charge to expectant mothers across the country.

At&T has joined with National Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition to help expecting moms who are as early as four weeks pregnant through the first twelve months of their child's life.

To opt in to text4baby, expectant family members can text BABY (for English) or BEBE (for Spanish) to 511411.  You will be asked to provide information on the due date.  The program will then begin to send you a weekly text message containing health and medical guidance timed for that week of the pregnancy.
