At last, Broadway legends hit Chicagoland stages—from Bernstein to Webber

Max Clayton, Seth Danner, Jeff Smith, Marya Grandy, Alison Jantzie and Johanna McKenzie Miller star in the first major Chicago production of On the Town directed by 11-time Jeff Award winner David H. Bell. The musical comedy includes iconic songs “New York, New York” and “Lonely Town” and Leonard Bernstein’s score with book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. At Last: A Tribute to Etta James written and directed by Black Ensemble Theater Founder and CEO Jackie Taylor returns with co-direction by Daryl D. Brooks. Griffin Theatre Company opens its 2014-15 season with an intimate version of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Titanic from October 18 to December 7, 2014. The 20-member cast includes: Kelley Abbel, Justin Adair, Neala Barron, Patrick Byrnes, Matt Edmonds, Emily Grayson, Courtney Jones, John Keating, Royen Kent, Josh Kohane, Eric Lindahl, Scott Alan Luke, Jake Mahler, Laura McClain, Christine Perkins, Kevin Stangler, Sean Thomas, and Peter Vamvakas .

Under the direction of Scott Weinstein, Titanic features music and lyrics by Maury Yeston, book by Peter Stone), new orchestrations by Ian Weinberger, and music direction by Elizabeth Doran at Theater Wit on 1229 W.
