It's ALIVE...It's ALIVE...The musical Young Frankenstein, Mel Brooks' follow-up to the extraordinary success of his The Producers, is alive and well and heading towards a wacky week of horror and hilarity at ASU Gammage. Dr. Frankenstein (that's pronounced: Fronkensteen) and his main monster man will be in Tempe from Monday, September 27 to Sunday October 3.

ASU Gammage has just announced a special discount for those of you who have been biting your nails in fear and, unnecessarily, hesitating in purchasing tickets. No more. Inside ASU Gammage Members can get a $10.00 discount for Monday through Thursday performances of Young Frankenstein by simply using the code: RITZ when calling Ticketmaster for tickets at (800) 982 ARTS (2787). Now isn't it time you became an Inside ASU Gammage Member? Rhetorical! Please note, this most special offer excludes Balcony seating. It is also not valid on previously purchased tickets and those purchased in conjunction with another offer.

This wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to create a monster, but not without scary and hilarious complications. The brains behind the laughter (quite Abby-Normal, mind you) is mad genius and three-time TONY Award® winner Mel Brooks who wrote the music and lyrics and co-wrote the book along with his record-breaking team from The Producers: five-time Tony Award® winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman and three-time Tony-winning writer, Thomas Meehan.

The 2010-11 season at ASU Gammage is ten for ten with it's fabulous line up of ten of Broadway's best:

Young Frankenstein: September 27 to October 3, 2010

Disney's Beauty and the Beast: October 19 to October 24

How The Grinch Stole Christmas: November 17 to November 21
