“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).”
In this current epoch, people are not only lost and confused, but corrupted by the rapid changes that have become normality. There is this tremendous lack of faith and belief in God that has become a standard inclination. Although the occurrence of unbelievers revert back to Biblical times, still the escalation is quite alarming.
There is an evident pattern of this societal unbelief. It all begins with the family unit. If two Christians marry and raise their children up in the church, those children will hopefully grow up and do likewise with their own family. However, this is not the logical trend of families today. There are some Christians who marry and assume that the act of believing in our Lord will happen on its own and that there is no need to enforce it with the children.
Furthermore, there are those who do not marry at all, but rather live together in continual sin. These unwed couples inevitably conceive, and bear children who will have no sense of morals or values. How can a family who is concocted from sin thrive? The most fascinating aspect of this tendency is how society views this as not only the norm but an undisputed occurrence.
Today’s Youth truly have no hope. If hope exists, it can only be found with God. However, if young people cease to believe in God, what hope do they honestly have? What value would this illusory hope have for them?
It should not matter what others around us are doing in regards to their lifestyle or choices they will make. As Christians, we must not judge them but acknowledge their path to be one that we must not follow. Let the mistakes of others be a lesson for us to continue to walk in the humble footstep of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Beloved, do not allow the ones around you to sway your thinking. In this day in age, we are not only followers of Christ, but His fervent warriors. In this generation, our faith will be tested over and over. Do not allow yourself to be diverged. Rid yourself of the negative people who wish you harm. Turn to God and forget not who is there for you always.
Only God will love you in way no human will be able to. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ did not stop saving us from the Cross. He saves us each and every day. Can you not spare a moment each day for our Lord? Do not forget God for He has not forgotten you.
