1708 Gallery’s second “Assembler,” a series of conversations that occur with the gallery’s current exhibition, will be held tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
Tomorrow night’s discussion, led by artist and Assistant Professor of Art Foundation and Sculpture and Extended Media at Virginia Commonwealth University Matt King, will be focused on Christian Benefiel’s interactive, inflatable sculptures in “Push, Pull, Resist.”
The event is free and open to the public.
On display at Linden Row Inn, 1708 Gallery’s satellite location, is “ISO Peace” featuring the works of Richmond artists Tom Chenoweth, Bill Fisher, David Freed, Travis Fullerton, Lauri Luck, Louis Poole, Diego Sanchez and Tanja Softic.
“ISO Peace” was curated by Amie Oliver, an artist and 1708 Gallery board member.
