Earlier this month, news broke that Ubisoft had two Assassin's Creed titles in development for both current generation consoles and previous generation hardware. These two titles would be developer with the specific scale both generations of hardware provide.
The former, Assassin's Creed "Unity," would be developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Sources have confirmed this information months ago, and was further backed up by a posting on Kotaku.
Today, footage of Assassin's Creed Unity alpha footage has been posted to YouTube. The footage not only confirms the French setting, but also gives a glimpse at what Ubisoft has planned for the new hardware in terms of world detail and character art.
