Originally released on the PS Vita, Assassin’s Creed Liberation is getting an HD upgrade that will release on the Playstation 3. In a post from the official Playstation Blog on Oct 23, Ubisoft revealed that Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will become available to download from the Playstation Store at the start of the new year.
With the HD remake, Ubisoft has done more than improve upon the visuals of the handheld title. In the process of moving the game to the Playstation 3, the developer reworked the controls and mission pacing of Assassin’s Creed Liberation. Sounding more and more like a Director’s Cut, rather than a remake, the PS3 version will also feature several brand new missions that weren’t seen in the Playstation Vita edition. Fans can expect all three of Aveline’s main disguises to receive new quests and gameplay content.
Ubisoft's Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD becomes available via the Playstation Store on Jan 14 for $19.99.
