Ubisoft Community Developer, Gabriel Graziani, announced on the official Playsation Blog yesterday that “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will feature exclusive content that will appear on Sony’s consoles only. Both the Playsation 3 and Playsation 4 versions of the game will include a download that gives players an additional hour of gameplay similar to the Benedict Arnold campaign on PS3 for “Assassin’s Creed III.”
Customers who purchase Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on PS3 or PS4 can download an additional 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay via the PlayStation Network at the game’s launch. We’ll have further details to share in the months ahead!
The next installment to the franchise, “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will return players to the 18th century but will place them in the Caribbean as pirate assassin, Captain Edward Kenway. “Black Flag” will further the nautical themes that were briefly introduced in “Assassin’s Creed III” and build upon them as one of the main areas of focus for the pirating “Assassin’s Creed” title.
“Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will release on Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and Nintendo’s Wii U this Oct 29. Gamers who pick up the PS3 or PS4 version of the game will get additional launch content which will be downloaded from the Playstation Network.
